Alfred AI

Meet Alfred, your AI inventory planner.

Alfred reads your demand plan, your stock, your purchase orders, your suppliers and your settings, and answers like an analyst who already knows the business: the decision first, the numbers behind it, and where each one came from. Ask it to change something, and it shows you the change before anything lands.

Answers, not dashboards.

Which purchase orders are late? What's running low in Paris? What did we sell last week? Alfred looks it up in your Forstock data and answers with the decision first, then only the rows you need to act on, ranked by what hurts first: the earliest stockout, the most cash tied up, the longest delay.

  • Reads the reorder list, the demand plan, purchase orders and receipts, suppliers, locations, planning settings and daily sales
  • Never invents a number. If data is stale, mid-sync or missing, it says exactly what's missing
  • Keeps a fact, a calculation and its own recommendation apart

02 · Ask why

Every number, with its sources.

Ask why a quantity is 120, why September is higher than last year, or how much cash is sitting in overstock, and Alfred reasons from Forstock's own calculations, the same ones behind the Reorder and Demand Planning screens. Under every answer, the Sources chips name the screens it read, so you can open them and check.

How much cash is sitting in overstock?
$8,555 at cost, in three SKUs that won't need an order before February.

03 · Ask how

Knows the app as well as the numbers.

Ask where something lives or how to do it, and Alfred searches the Forstock help center, gives you the steps, and names the article it used. New teammates stop asking the person who set Forstock up.

How do I receive part of a delivery?
Receive what arrived and leave the rest open:
  1. 1Open Purchasing → Purchase Orders and pick the PO.
  2. 2Click Receive Items and enter the quantity received per line.
  3. 3Save. Received units move into stock; the remaining quantity stays on the PO as incoming.
  4. 4Sync to Shopify when you're ready. It's a switch per order.
The PO shows as partly received until the last unit lands.

04 · Ask it to act

Changes you review before they land.

Ask Alfred to exclude a product from planning, raise safety stock on a supplier's SKUs, move a promotion or update a lead time. It stages each change as a card, you confirm or discard, and only then does the plan recalculate. It never creates, edits or deletes anything on its own, and the forecast itself stays with the forecasting engine.

  • Planning inputs and supplier settings, one card per change
  • Confirm all, or discard, in one click
  • Nothing changes in Forstock without your confirmation

Where it lives

Built into Forstock, not bolted on.

On every screen

Ask Alfred opens as a drawer wherever you are in Forstock, so the reorder list stays in view while you ask about it.

One store at a time

Alfred reads the connection you have selected, through a short-lived, read-only credential. Nothing from another store, nothing it wasn't handed.

Conversations that keep their thread

Pick up yesterday's question where you left it, or start a new conversation. History is yours, per store.

From a Forstock customer
Forstock has become a real ally in running our store. It lets us anticipate our stock needs calmly, avoid stockouts, and keep replenishment under control. The interface is intuitive, clear, and focused on concrete decisions — highly recommend it.

What Alfred won't do
  • Invent a number. Every figure comes from a Forstock tool result, or Alfred says what's missing.
  • Replace the forecast. Demand numbers come from the forecasting engine. Alfred reads them.
  • Change anything unasked. A change is a card with the old and new value. It lands when you confirm.
  • See another store. It's scoped to the connection you selected, and only that one.
  • Guess at causes. When the data only shows a correlation, it says so.
Questions

Five things people ask before they trust it.

From your Forstock data only: the reorder table and the calculation behind each row, the demand plan, purchase orders with their receipts and payments, suppliers, locations, planning settings, daily sales, stock health and financial metrics, plus the Forstock help center for how-to questions. It reads the same calculations that power the screens, so an answer matches what you'd see on the page.
